Mother Ammachi was featured in CBS' In God's Name Broadcast - Sunday, Dec. 23 on the CBS Television Network
"IN GOD' S NAME," a major television event addressing some of the most challenging and profound questions of our time, will be broadcast Sunday, Dec. 23 on the CBS Television Network. This primetime special includes extraordinary footage of 12 of the world's most influential religious leaders, all featured in a single broadcast for the first time. Filmmakers Jules and Gedeon Naudet return to the network with their first project since the multiple award-winning film "9/11".
In 2005 the United Nations Officially Recognized Amma's M.A. Math as an NGO.
The M.A.Math is a non-profit organization that has such a vast, multifaceted infrastructure that when a major disaster strikes anywhere in India, it is able to immediately respond with the power of its dedicated volunteers and monks, including professionals in various fields, to take care of every aspect of disaster relief, from emergency work to long-term rebuilding and rehabilitation.
Another very important factor is that, when Amma pledged $23 million for Tsunami relief efforts she knew that her admirers from all over the world will make that pledge a reality. When asked about it, she simply stated, "My children are my strength."
True to her faith in her children, donation poured in and we must say that expenditure kept exceeding the income as the relief efforts are expanding in multiple ways.

Facilitating the Labyrinth is a Spiritual Path ...
"The goal of this Veriditas Facilitator Training is to prepare people to introduce others to the labyrinth in an articulate, professional and effective way. The training addresses both meditative walking and ceremonial use. It is focused primarily on the Eleven Circuit Medieval Labyrinth but is inclusive of all forms.
Walking the labyrinth is being embraced as a spiritual practice throughout the Western world mostly because of Veriditas trained facilitators. The Veriditas Facilitator Training - which began in 1997 - remains the most rigorous and comprehensive training offered. Some people take this two-day course to deepen their knowledge of labyrinths. Others take it with the goal of becoming a Veriditas Certified Labyrinth Facilitator."

| Jean Houston Many workshops are being offered through out the year. "Every human soul yearns for a sense of deep and true partnership. Beginning with spiritual partnership in the form of the Beloved of the Soul, we explore the path of intimate companionship, finding ways of bestowing this miraculous capacity to all our relations. In so doing, we learn to build and sustain effective, creative partnerships with friends, loved ones, groups, communities. And the Earth Herself. Discovering and using the complex powers of partnership at every level of our lives will open us to new worlds of meaning, manifestation, and joy. This daring and delightful journey to true partnership is the great work of the year for those who will share and help create the 2008 Mystery School on the West Coast. Please join us: Become a partner in this mighty enterprise." |
Rebbetzin Jungreis has many new videos on her web site. A sample:
Anger Never speak in anger.
* The more we vent our anger, the more we will need to vent.
The Torah tells us to control ourselves and not to act until we're calm. Stop Close your mouth. Think. You can never take back what you say in anger.
