The mystics tell us that sacred text is written with black fire upon white fire. Our eyes see only one text, that which is written in black, but we see in the white that surrounds the black another narrative, the ignored and overlooked half of the story that may help us save ourselves. This is the perfect metaphor for the teachings and leadership of women of spirit who, for the first time in history, have opportunity collectively to bring a new vision to religion, spirit, and face of the holy. May this community awaken us to reclaim the divine feminine to bring us into a balanced and better world.
