Founder of the Sufi Women Organization, a worldwide forum of Sufi women connected to each other via the Internet and the publications of the organizations. Dr. Angha was born into an academic and aristocratic family in Tehran in mid 1940's. Because of the Iranian revolution that overthrew the Shah, the family immigrated to the U.S. in 1979. Dr. Angha's father, a renowned Sufi master, trained her as a teacher of Sufi Islam, and marked her spiritual advancement by giving her his Robe.
